  • One thing I did not like about this restoration: the interior of a Willys Jeep was not white. Other than that, great job!

  • Amazing workmanship. I have this Jeep in red, with white window frame, since about 1971! It's not got a scratch on it. I'm 56 now.

  • Another great restoration! So where do you find Army Green rivets? Or do you powder coat them as well?

    rcWizzardrcWizzard23 gün önce
  • Please don't use those awful pop rivets. Semi-tubular rivets are what Tonka used.

  • Really dumb question - what are the sandblaster gloves made out of that they don't get stripped along with whatever's being restored?

    Kevin GarrettKevin GarrettAylar önce
    • They are made of heavy duty rubber. The blasting media will bounce off of anything flexible.

  • I had one of these jeeps assigned to me when I was a young private in the early '90s. The unit that we were supporting at Camp Shelby, MS, had several in good shape and they were great to use running around post taking care of business. Great job on this restoration!!!

  • I VERY RARELY comment on TRvision videos...BUT...I do indicate "like"...and commented positively several times here. However, I want to say how WONDERFUL & AMAZING it is to watch you..."masterfully"...restore these Tonka Vehicles. I LOVED them as a child & wish I still had those "many" which Santa brought me every Christmas :- )) My heart is happy as I watch you return these relics of childhood..."respectfully"...back to their original glory. Actually, your ( more than ) skillful restorations are better than original. THANKS!!!! Kindest regards, Ben
