Just a note here. Autistic, awake adults hate Temple Grandin. Everything she says about autism and how autistic people, especially children, is wrong to the point of when it is followed, you get autistic people like me. The kind who wishes he could clone Temple 50,000 times so he can turn them into a Vlad Țepeș style forest of corpses.
Your Voice sounds so similar to Matthew McConaughey

After learning all this information about speech it's even more disgusting knowing that deaf people were forced to learn speech in schools before.
@Shirokröte it's a waste of time for deaf people to learn speech. It was done for many years and was extremely useless.
@Cre4ture A combination of the two would probably be the best.
@Shirokröte its way harder for them to learn how to speak than for us to learn a little sign language. Life is already way harder for them, they shouldn't have to learn something like that when they have their own language
@Cre4ture Because a majority of people can speak and hear. To me it only seems beneficial for deaf people to at least know some way to communicate with those that don't know sign language. Even if it's just saying "Sorry, I cannot hear you". The best option would probably be to teach everyone sign language but that, knowing the nicheness of the problem, seems implausible.
@Shirokröte why would someone who can't hear be forced to learn how to speak. They can't hear what sounds they would need to correct. And um idk, why would they need to talk? They can't hear whoever they are talking to.
Got me doing my own voice incorrect
You have to take into consideration the recording equipment used in the older footage

The interesting thing about the Churchill speech is that the one we all hear is the one that was recorded for radio following it being done in parliament. Churchill was known to not really be bothered to record for radio and so the recording sounds much less energetic.
