  • For everyone wondering "who are they" and "why are they so popular" well I'll show you some of the many reasons now : grab a tea and read: 1. They write and produce their own music, they open up about their deepest thoughts and emotions, people relate to that and resonate with it. 2. Their music videos are really artistic and aesthetically pleasing. Plus they are based on classical literature and are all connected to each other, telling a story which is really fun and fascinating to unravel, and mentally challenging. ( They even produced short movies which gave me a headache for weeks cause they were done so cleverly and in such a beautiful and artistic way damn) 3. They have a lot of content which show their whole journey from day one till now, in which they give an insight into how they plan their concerts, how they shoot their mvs and on how they feel in all those situations, all that show their true characters 4. They ARE actually talented. Some have a background as professional dancers, some as underground rappers, one is really good at producing beats, one even studied acting. It's great to see how they all come together each with their specific talent, how they learn from each other and improve with every new comeback. 5. not only are their title tracks really good and well planned out, since they work together with a production team which consists of MANY people behind the scene, their side tracks are equally good, and they are fully involved in songwriting, producing and concept making. Especially their non title tracks, and their own mixtapes are such beautiful songs, that are worth listening to 6. They are very observant of the society they live in and very self- reflective and self- critical towards their own actions and behaviour, and they talk about all this in their lyrics. That's why you find songs which revolve around such a diversity of subjects like mental health, disorientation of young people, oppression of society on young people, political issues, loosing and finding your path, friendship, temptation, death, loss and many more subjects many young people can relate to. 7. They are really humble, behave infront of media and are hard working which inspires many young people too. 8.all songs of their discography, also the MVs are connected to each other and show their development from young teenagers to young adults, which is also fascinating to see. 9. Their relationship to each other is really deep since they've grown up together and seeing such a deep bond is really adorable, seeing how they support each other and go through all the ups and dows together warms the heart of many of their fans. 10. They always try out new genres, styles, and concepts, in one song they dance contemporary and focus n emotions and the subject of friendship and loss and not the other they do old school hip hop in the most finest way like for example in Mic Drop. When they talk about their music you can see and feel the passion. Besides their main albums they put a lot of own tracks, mixtapes and covers out, their company gives them a lot of freedom and the right resources to fully unravel their musical potential which, as they've proven so many times, really has no limits. 11. Their concerts and especially live performances are alway ON POINT and very artistic. 12. Their journey is really inspiring and touching, they started from scratch, with nothing, no big company to have their back, all they had was their talent and hard work, and there are many videos in which they reflect on this time, which show how authentic they truly are. You don't see that very often. In general seeing how they deal with and survive in the korean music industry which is completely different from the one we are familiar with, really opens up your perspective on how artists step into this field in a different culture. There is no such thing as "pre debut time" in which young children give up their childhood to pursue a music career and train up to 7/8 hours daily till every note and every move looks and sounds perfect here in western music. But all that training paying off can be seen now in their music and performances. There are no "comeback stages" or "comeback concepts" in the music industry that we know. Taking a look into all this, and BTS creativ work might widen your perspective on music too. You should check them out on "MCountdown", "Inkigayo" etc. ALso Besides their title songs, I truly recommend to check out their albums and mixtapes as well. Just search up their name on youtube and spotify and you'll see the musical phenomenon that is BTS.

  • As a small child, the Beatles were my first favorite band. I'm new to BTS, having just discovered them when they were on SNL. Seeing my newest favorites doing this fun homage to my first favorite brought a little tear to my eyes. Not sad at all! Very happy. Love this! Can't get enough of it.

  • Okay- I don’t want to hate, but I really do think they were asking to be compared with the Beatles in this. They’ve used so many references, from Ringo’s kit to the outfits and black and white camera.

    Tut9Tut94 gün önce
    • The skit was the idea of the Late Show, not BTS own idea. American media have been comparing them to the Beatles. And although they are of course flattered they have also stated that they are themselves and aren’t trying to be someone else, especially not the Beatles 👍🏻

    • @‘Moonshine&’Sunshine Look, I like their voices. The harmony is great. But I hate this Beatles parody. I'd love that if it was a cover on The Beatles in BTS style, or BTS song in The Beatles style, but they just sang their song with B&W filter. I'm a big fan of The Beatles and I don't like what they did.
