Pls tackle some African history like Ethiopian empire Mali empire
@Matthias Van Hecke You are very confused. The video topic is clearly about Shanghai, not Nanjing. Next thing I know, I'm making a video about the battle of Berlin, but the video is instead about the battle in the Ardennes.
Can you try to cover battles in revolutions around the world
Goddamit im an ios user
No! Ads suck!
Watched the movie 800, that movie portrays the battle of Sihang warehouse quite well.
Go!!!! Extinct China!!!!!
3:33 Nice reference lmao.
3:30 Japan:The New Fire Nation US:The Air Nomads China:The Water Tribes
Nice avatar jokeXD
Well the japanese made kamen rider
Everything changed when the Japanese attacked - The last Shanghai Defender
do battle of bataan philippines campaign ww2
Bruh the chinse even had a copy of stalingrad
Ah yes, a copy 5 years before the actual battle of Stalingrad.
Fun Fact: The Chinese who fought the Japanese we’re NATIONALISTS, mostly in Taiwan 🇹🇼 today. The Communists hid.
@Xor rd yes, both nationest and communist fight japan. in.that time communist have land and it is no week
@Zennoix riel3620 That’s not true. The Communists hid while the Nationalists fought the Japanese.
They ran to Taiwan, leaving their parents, relatives and also wives and children behind in the mainland. Today their mainland descendants grow up believing that the communists are the ones who did most of the fighting. They probably also have Taiwanese descendants who view the mainland Chinese with disdain without regarding their ancestors' origin. And all this divide is due to what? Fcking ideological difference.
WHEN THE JAPANESE SOLDIERS ATTACKED BEIJING IN 1937, WW2 IN THE EAST ASIA BEGAN
THE CHINESE BATTLEFIELD IS ONE OF THE MAJOR BATTLEFIELD OF WW2
I guess you’re partially right since it only ended when World War II ended as well.
TO OUR CHINESE AND THE JAPANESE, SINO-JAPANESE WAR 2 IS THE WW2
That’s just the start of the Second-Sino Japanese War, not the Second World War. What you’re saying could be applied to many other interwar period conflicts such as the Second Italo-Ethiopian War and the Spanish Civil War.
WE HATE THE JAPANESE EVEN TODAY
感谢你,THANK YOU VERY MUCH

The significance of the Battle of Songhu was to change the direction of Japanese aggression against China, to induce Japan to invade China from east to west (China's overall terrain is high in the west and low in the east) After the National Revolutionary Army retreated, the pursuing Japanese mechanized troops unknowingly plunged into the terrain surrounded by mud and mountains in southern China, which provided ample opportunities for the National Revolutionary Army to ambush. trvision.net/detail/video-D-FvzyBjDt8.html Free movie: Eight Hundred
谢谢
China was weak at that time, but it stood gainst the invaders for 8 years and would continue for many more years even if USA didn't bombed Japan. China was too big for Japan to conquered.
Warpath is a bad game tho, The video is good
What's next Chinese Kazakhstan?
9:16 The Chinese movie "The Eight Hundred" was based on this battle.
Let’s conduct a Tokyo massacre
Thank you for the video! There’s not much attention on the eastern asian allies during ww2
my great grand father was a chinese soldier and lost his life in the battle while saving a civilian.
he was only 25, my grandpa was only 1
Sihang Warehouse in Shanghai = Pavlov's House in Stalingrad
People who do not know the truth feel sympathy and anger for the fact that China was invaded by Japan in the past, just because they are democratic regimes. If China was under the leadership of the Communist Party or the Soviet Union was invaded by Japan before World War II, I believe the international community at that time would definitely stand on the side of the Japanese government. This is the capitalist.
Hirohito is like the Asian Hitler and the Nanking massacre is like the Asian holocaust.
The battle of Shanghai is a fist-to-fist battle to show strength and determination. The battle of Wuhan and the battle of Changsha were Stalingrad-style battles.
This channel is extremely underrated and i'm so lucky I found it
I have no words to express how beautifully done this video was, the visuals, writing and the editing was just superb
Many people don't know about this but china's tough struggle against Japan in the war allowed it to strain Japan of its resources endlessly and tire itself out and in constaht need of more resources, hence they were desperate enough to start a war with the Americans, which would kill then in the end. Meaning without China, Japan would have easily ate up Asia and cooperated with Germany to destroy the soviets. It definitely should be taught more in schools
I'm so proud to have been descendants to the heroes who fought against Japan at that time. Love the great Republic 🇹🇼🇹🇼🇹🇼🇹🇼🇹🇼🇹🇼🇹🇼
3:30 I see what you did there
Please make more videoes on the second sino-japanese war!
3:32 lol the avatar reference
About the Baoshan town: A Chinese battalion had to face overwhelming Japanese invaders on their own. Outnumbered, outgunned, knowing their fate at the very beginning, they fought street by street and made the Japanese suffer even heavier casualities. The gunfire only subsided after seven days when the last defender fell, including all the officers. The battalion commander Major Yao Ziqing was later promoted to Major General posthumously. There is a movie with this story as the theme.
We need Battle of Manila, which is the Stalingrad of the Philippines.
I can tell Mafia City is a great game by the grunting alone.
Respect those Chinese soldiers. If only the commies didn't use this war to regroup themselves and betraying Kuomintang soldiers then the outcome would be vastly different. Salute!
I wonder if Qing Government did not lose in the wars against the Western countries, Qing would not lose the huge amount of gold and silver as the so-called compensation. Since gold and silver can maintain the value of $$$, would the Chinese Government purchase enough amount of advance weapons including tiger tanks and MP40 from the Nazi?
The Nazis didn't even engineer enough tiger tanks for themselves so I doubt there would be much trade of these heavy tanks between Germany and China.
When Britain, USA, Soviet Union, India and China were Allies. Great time.
You failed to mention china was in the midst of a civil war with the communist !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was said that nationalist china was more concerned with losing to the communist that they didn't really commit to the japanese thinking they would handle them only after they beat the communist.
japanese army have airplanes and tanks while chinese army dont have airplanes and tanks, thats why chinese army are fighting a losing war
The animation is so good!
Tibet is a part of China
love the exaggerated size of India, Nepal and Bhutan...looks like India is twice the land mass of china, really accurate
For a Japanese-Chinese war, it sure looked like white guys fighting each other.
👏🏿👏🏽👏🏻
2 thoughts: 1) Shanghai was no Stalingrad. The latter never fell. 2) All the effort put by Koumintang ironically resulted in dramatic weakening of their militias and resulted in communist occupation of China. Almost feeling sorry for non-Communists.
Stalingrad did fall, that's how the German 6th Army was encircled.
The battle of Wuhan is still going on today.
Fun Fact: The Rape of Nanjing was a direct result of the Battle of Shanghai. The Japanese, after the meat grinder of Shanghai, were essentially frustrated, and eventually, I guess angered is a way to put it, by the fast fall of the Capital and to essentially vent, they took it all out on the civilians.
3:30 :) thank me later
and then everything change when the Japanese nation attack haha
The defiant increase postsynaptically bubble because thrill anecdotally disarm outside a cool argentina. foregoing, super clutch
Hola qué imagen aparece en el minuto 4:07 tengo casualidad psd : traduce tus videos al español 🙏me encantan pero no logro traducir las palabras siempre todo lo demás esta bien
If I was a soldier fighting in the second world war, I'd choose to be deployed in Europe. The Pacific theater looks worse than death and hell itself.
Lol
Thank you for this video. Since school in China don't teach much about KMT part of this war. It is quite informative for me.
🇹🇼🇹🇼🇹🇼 中華民國萬歲
The lieutenant trespassing is one theory in the eyes of the Kuomintang. I know it’s TRvision so you’d have to pick sides but do acknowledge that there are theories of staged assassinations and also Kuomintang starting it.
amazing 太棒了
Operation IchiGo 1944 remains under-rated and unknown in the West. It had Russian-German, Eastern Front level casualties. Millions of soldiers and hundreds of thousands of casualties on both side. In only 9 months. This front destroyed the fighting power of the Nationalist Army and paved the way for Communist victory only a few years later.
My Great Grandfather was here during this time. Tasked with training Chinese nationals with vehicles. His letters depict the horrors of the Japanese military. He was even friends with Shek. I have a signed photo of him.
Chinese Stalingrad should be the Battle of Changsha not this one
Has estos videos pero en Español no logro entenderlo el significado de las palabras
great Avatar cameo, sir
respect to the chinese defenders of Shanghai from Ukraine
Not everything change when japan invaded. There was still warlords in power but just not in conflict. And the communist where still around but they where badly beaten after the long march.
上海人不会忘记这场战争,吾辈当自强
