  • I have a similar haircut to the 2nd to last video but shorter on top. To answer your question, I cut mine into a pixie then shaved the back and sides. Then I kept shaving the sides while growing the top 👍

  • Liberty spikes and mohawks started in the 80's with all the hardcore punk movement, specially in the UK, you can see it in bands as the exploited actually, before that...I think the most spiky look there was out there was Sid viscous, and that's kind of it

  • Protip: give a lil twist to the end of your spiked hair with extra hairspray kinda wet to help it get a pointy point ✌ also, when I had my death hawk, I had grown my hair out for like 10 years before shaving the sides it was wicked

  • So my brother used to wear his hair in spikes and I was always the one coloring it rainbow for him. The way he did it, when all his hair had a decent length, I shaved his sides and then he would just let the middle grow and kept me shaving his sides. Was the best time. Every third week or so on friday I recolored and reshaved his hair, great time tbh

  • I had long hair (shoulder length) and cut my sides. I did the liberty mohawk for halloween. I did purple and I was a punk. The back one kind of bent like the first girls did. It was fun. Hair was pretty damaged afterward.

  • This from google: “Liberty spikes trace their origins to the Ancient Britons. Warriors washed their long hair in lime water, which also bleached it blond. ... Originally the spikes were small, as worn by modern-day punk fans, but by the 1980s this had evolved to tall liberty spikes, sometimes over a foot in length.”

  • this is from off the web:trace their origins to the Ancient Britons. Warriors washed their long hair in lime water, which also bleached it blond. This hairstyle was highly symbolic as a badge of honor and manhood: Celts were not allowed to spike or cut their hair until they had killed an enemy. this is when it became popular: spiked hair, teased hair, brightly colored hair, and shaved hair sections were popularized in the 1980s by the punk movement, as were the Mohawk and its twisted variant, Liberty spikes.

  • For those who don't understand. Because you have a certain style or the way you dress. Whether it be liberty spikes or leather jackets. Doesn't make you a punk. At all. Punk is a ideolgy. Most people think fashion punks are actually part of the subculture. THEY ARENT

  • We normally dont "buy" those jackets like that as is...we generally make them badass like that ourselves from a blank leather (alot of times from a used clothing shop) instead and build from there 🤘😝

    • If you don't make your own jacket through blood, sweat, tears and torn up hands, you don't own a punk jacket.
