    • The Ottomans did recover from the defeat. Thats false. The fielded another army 3 years later to have it smashed at the final battle of Mohacs. They then made yet another army that was destroyed by Eugene of Savoy at Zenta. Had the Allies stopped at Vienna or lost the other battles the Ottomans could have won.

Poles were the nicest people while being under Austria, we could have helped poles against Russia, or do anything, but we annexed till Austro-Hungarian moire arrived, Poland saved us when Vienna almost died, I thank the Poles.

  • In this time period in Poland, nobles were doing this for the splendor. They weren't doing this for the money, because to be a hussar, the guy would be really rich. When he's going to the war,he has to provide the food for everybody in this camp around fifty people are working for him. In this time period, all the buttons were golden or some had diamonds. The story goers , when the nobles went to the tavern for drink most of the time they don't carry money, they just ripp off the buttons and throw it to the guy. ,, here is for whatever we drank '' About famous hussars horse: ,, However, it was not only the physical characteristics of these steeds that determined their combat value and usefulness on the battlefield. They could become Hussar mounts only after undergoing many years of arduous training. The training was such that the animal was allowed to enter a narrow track, at each end of which there was a small circle. Horses have been trained for years to run along this path at maximum speed, spinning around its axis at the end of it. Thanks to this, during the battle, they could turn back immediately, almost standing still. More than once they have saved their master's life in this way. All this made Hussar horses extremely expensive, as they could even cost the equivalent of over 65 kilograms of silver! If we were looking for an analogy in the present day, it can be compared to the new Lamborghini. Let's imagine that every hussar had to have at least two or three mounts. This was due to their high mortality during the battle, as well as marches and related diseases and lack of forage. Well, as the classic used to say, you need three things to wage war: money, money, and more money. It is not surprising then that horses that could serve the hussars and other cavalry units were treated as special war material. The state itself was interested in them. From the times of the last Jagiellons, there was an embargo on the export of our horses abroad. Whoever broke them, threatening the security of the Republic of Poland, even faced the death penalty .

"holy league" is still alive, only difference its members have changed their names.

  • The charge of the winged hussars was soo spectacular that turkish comander was crying.they never lost the battle in 125 years.many times conquering the enemy forces of swedes or russians by one to ten wit h minimal loses of they b a husar was to b wealthy to train the horse took many years of hard work this horses run in to enemy like tanks crashing everything without fear .seling secrets about training the horses was capital punishment.the armour was many kg of silver .very expensive .the lances were hollow and ingenius deaign very long up to 6 one battle a husar pierces 6 soldiers with one strike.amasing force.many wars were averted because soldiers refuse to fight against husars they were deadly force .unfortunately history omits this and other interesting stories .for some reason slavic history of 10 000 years is unknown and in fact hiden.thoisands of books have been burn specially by vatican

  • At that time, there was no European power to defeat the Ottoman Empire. The Ottoman Empire took the biggest blow from within. The Crimean Khan Murat Giray was not on good terms with Kara Mustafa Pasha, who carried out the siege. He did not stop the Polish army to punish Kara Mustafa Pasha, watched them cross the bridge and betrayed the Ottoman Empire.

  • Europeans got pretty lucky the Ottomans were occuppied from 1389 dealing with Hungary. Wonder how it would have turned out, if Hungary would just let all those poor Ottoman refugees who are only seeking a better life just go through. This centuries long fighting decimated Hungary in the process. There was point where the hungarian population matched of Englands, . I guess in those times the hungarians, and the balkan got "vaccinated" against the muslim cultural enrichment pretty much. But atleast they got revarded for their efforts. Oh wait... they didnt? The Habsburgs occupied their weakened country and split it up to 3 parts, and then after draging Hungary into the 1st World War it was even split up more. Well,.. what a shame. Atleast Eastern Europeans are standing up for their right nowadays, and starting to realise who really their enemies are.

  • This war with turkish resources is like a game of thrones betreals, corraption and unloyalty i advice that it's kinda epic. This is not a history "hussars arrived" you guys don't give a enought respect a all soldiers. A history researchs can take resouces both nation and compares them other way it's not a history. What kinda storytelling is there is noting about ottoman allys and their activities...
