well, is it ok, that Poland was actually an agressor at that war, occupied territories of independed states including Vilnius, wich was returned to Lithuania only in 1938 as a Soivet Troyan horse? But people anyway prise Poland. Btw in 1939 USSR occupied the territories of Poland wich were occupied by Poland in 1920 from Soviet Ukraine and Belarus. I can't approve Soivet aggression, but as a matter of fact, it was a consequence of Polish expansion and aggression in 1920.
I'm Polish and it's spelled: Józef Piłsudski Just forr those that are curious.
Do it right or dont do it at ALL
Why you show Lithuanian land as bolsevics captured it? you should do serouse researth Poland and Lithuania was at war to at the same time non fucking bolsevics came in Lithuania they all was pushed out your history strongly missing reality seemse most fact came from your imagination and wiki.
If you like David and Goliat stories check the Battle of Kirholm!
We shouldn't forget that american movie director Merian C. Cooper took part in that war by polish side. Greetings from PL.
Poland may have the worst neighbors, but remember, it took both of them to take him down.
Rip if only the soviets had won
I’m part polish so it’s nice to see Poland win a war
If Poland lost that battle there would be no Europe but Russia
Uh soviet union still not formed yet
God. AMDG!
The only thing Hitler had to do was get Poland on his side
We all would be doing carpet yoga if Poles wouldn’t save Europe
Simple answer: The Polish had God on their side

7:08 Then the winged Hussars arrived!

Can you just shut the hell up we dont want people to know
Piłsudski ran out from Warsaw. He was a socialist coward. You making video from wikipedia source or what? You miss many important things. It's not a historical thing.
POLAND WAS THE AGGRESSOR!!!!! ARE YOU FUCKING BLIND?!
But.... Poland attacked Russia... It wasnt a "Last stand". Poland tried to conquer Ukraine and Belarus... Why arent you talking about this?????
We can't forget Hungarian help too.
Poles started that war.
Hey you left out the American pilots that helped the Polish win the war.
When will Poland go for Berlin and capture the Merkelbunker? I think most of Europe would join in on that one.

"and eventual ice pick repository". I liked that.
Is so basic that I need to unlike it.
Soviet performance in this war must have cemented idea of Operation Barbarossa.
So they had 300,000 to begin with then each flanking army is made up of 300,000? Where did the other 300,000 come from? This guy seems to go back on his sources alot
And then they got crushed in 1939
And got free in 1991
Me: Making an comment about poland Poles: **Its a free real estate**
In 1919 and early 1920’s, Poland was not alone in fighting Soviet Union. The Romanian Army carried its own successful battles with the Red Army. These battles were smaller than those happening in Poland. In 1919-1921, when Hungary was led by a Communist government, Soviet Union saw a golden opportunity to use this situation to spread Communism in all Eastern Europe, hoping to enter in Austria as well. Romania, Poland and the Slovaks successfully collaborated to cut the help of Soviet Union for the Communist government of Hungary. In 1921 a big counterattack of the Romanian Army resulted in occupation of Hungary and its capital Budapest. That ended the Soviet style leadership of Hungary. In 1920's, in regard to supplies of foreign military equipment to Poland, the maritime way was hindered by the Weimar Republic and the land access was cut by both Weimar Republic and Soviet Union. In 1920's Poland could receive the weaponry ordered in France and Great Britain only through Romania, using the Romanian harbor of Constanța.
Thanks, good video
Great video! I'm especially greatful for mentioned 07:28 that in September 1939 Poland was invaded *BOTH* by *Germany* and *the Soviet Union* ...It wasn't only Germans, who attacked on September 01 - the Russians did the same on Sept 17.
Good red is a dead one.

They lost because they were poor and not enough guns or planes.
They lose bacause they was not fighting only poland and because there were disaster in whole country caused by years of talentless ruling
I recall visiting Poland and it seemed that TV was almost always carrying a film or documentary about the Polish/Russian war or Civil War or general inter-war warring period.
No fue desde 1919-1920??
I'm so proud of my polish ancestors
Because Stalin was a pussy
Greetings from 🇮🇳🤝🇵🇱🤝🇷🇺
Tsar That's it
. . . later in 1945 Churchill and Roosavelt gave all of Poland and 10 other European contries to Stalin.
Not agree they loose because Poland was invaded and don’t gained soviet territories. Poland gained only some years of peace.
Poland is still the one country that can successfully fight against Russia. France failed. Germany failed. Turkey failed. Just Poland
I think The Battle of Komarow was biggest Polish victory. Check it out.
Both my great grandfathers fought in that battle. The whole nation was summoned and urged to fight the bolsheviks. Ordinary civilians turned in with pride ready to defend our nation till death.
Damn shame the screwed it up, if they had gone th the border and waited they could have taken Poland at their leisure later.
it took the Soviets til 1941 to finally become good at war. And why it took so long I shall never know (well, i mean they were good in the Russian civil war.. but that's honestly where it ends until the successful defense of Moscow)
@Richard Harris the Soviets only needed some fuel for their airforce because the Germans bombed their refineries and they didn't see it as worth it to rebuild them when the Americans could just ship some over. And only trucks and trains were truly needed from the Americans for the USSR's war effort. Basically every single other piece of equipment was USSR made (basically every soldier was equipped with Uniforms made in the USSR, ate food grown in the USSR [after Ukraine was liberated], drank alcohol distilled in the USSR, had a PPSh made in the USSR, and frequently rode on tanks made in the USSR while Artillery made in the USSR shelled the enemy and Aircraft made in the USSR flew overhead)
In 1941 and shortly after.....Russia became good at war......once the US made large shipments of war material, fuel and food to the desperate Russian army.
Litereally every country that fought russians after WW1 (include napoleon’s invasion of russia) started great but russians always managed to turn the table
Ciechanów Radio Station: *Holy Bible sounds.* Soviets: "Why do i hear boss music?"
