Bro you are so Goddamn stupid we sighed the Paris peace accords in 1973 they resaled our prisoners of war and we ended direct involvement and you know 58,000 Americans were killed and over a MILLION north Vietnamese were killed we was winning before the withdraw and you know we could take Vietnam off the map right now ? So no therefore we have never lost a was debate me

Don't mind the salty comments below me 👇
Vietnam here
Why did we fail? We let politicians fight our battles instead of soldiers. Yet it was the soldiers who died.
If Native Nations in the 1860s had the AR-15 and the military arms backing of another country.. Native People would of given the United States it's Vietnam a whole century earlier!!
Very interesting, thank you for the video.
1M subs today
I am the Lorax and I speak for the trees, and for some damn reason. There speaking Vietnamese *fortunate son plays*
every US Army hater uses Vietnam as a way to hate on America which is stupid
How South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and the Philippines also lost the Vietnam War:
Worth noting that Britain had basically defeated the Viet Minh in 1945, when a combination of American and French pressure, and disinterest from Westminster, saw the highly successful British (and supervised Japanese) forces withdraw. France would later be defeated by Ho Chi Minh, whose forces would later pull a hattrick by defeating South Vietnam and the US. Mark Felton has a great video on the subject.
Lol this comment section is funny everyone acting like Vietnam is stronger the the usa. The the reality is Vietnam lost over 2 million lives vs the US lost around 58k Yes the usa lost but that was due to the lack of support given by the citizens as most did not want the war
Russia could'nt beat the US But Vietnam Cần Thơ
They did the same thing to Genghis Khan's mongol army, the Chinese, the French..., too. The U.S. defeat was not as legendary as the way they defeated the Genghis Khan's army.
Because you don’t like rice, and rice is the winner
soldiers : *pee on a bush* bush : duma, thối thế!
idk I see the north viets as cowards but eh
We should all blame france for making the US fight for them. They werent fighting for communism, they were fighting for freedom..
This is terrible lefty history
They truly love their country and people
Vietnam Defeats U.S USA now: oh you Want 6000 Nuclears?
@J RIVAZ 1. What did the French say about Vietnam after the war that made the whole world respect Vietnam so much? Vietnam has experienced the anti-French resistance in the 20th century. This resistance war we have won a glorious victory and that is the pride of the people of Vietnam. But even if you win, there will be great losses and sacrifices that cannot be compensated for and let the next generation understand a time of glorious glory as well as hard sacrifices lost. of the generations of his father, the books written on the subject of war will give today's readers an objective view and understanding of what the generation of his father used to sacrifice for independence. nation. Not only Vietnam but the French also have unforgettable memories of Vietnam. That was shared again in the book The War of Indochina through the voices of French soldiers.Through the book we will see, entering this war, French soldiers kept going from surprise to surprise. In combat, they were amazed at why the Vietnamese army, with its small people, rudimentary weapons, could be so brave, resilient and determined to fight and win. When they were defeated, held prisoners in a prison with no bars, no guards, and lived peacefully among the gentle people, they were even more amazed by the attitude and treatment of the Vietnamese army and people; the humanitarian and lenient policies of President Ho Chi Minh and the Government of Vietnam. A European prisoner - Phi Trai 15 wrote a letter to President Ho Chi Minh, including a passage expressing the awakening of this war: "Our minds were then crammed with all kinds of false propaganda of the invaders (ie the French colonialists). They told us: The Viet Minh were very barbaric; if they caught you they would behead. ""With those endless lies, we were so afraid to run to Your ranks and we stayed with weapons in hand until many of our comrades fell to the battlefield ... Early Vietnamese soldiers and officers made us understand that they were not fighting against the youth of oppressed nations, much less against the French people, but against the French colonialists - who living only on the wealth of others ". The mood from surprise to gratitude also happened similarly in many other prisoners, below is a part of the letter of the prisoners of Hospital 128 expressing gratitude and choking emotion:"Since our arrest, we have always been treated well by the officers and soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army as well as by the Vietnamese people. Thanks to your generosity, we are always welcome. enthusiasm everywhere we go. "" We were deeply moved that the Vietnamese people came to visit us last night on the occasion of our return. Personally, I cried when a lady. The old man holding my shoulder told me sentences in Vietnamese to say congratulations to me like a gentle mother said to her son ". Since then, with the question of why Vietnam won, the soldiers have an answer. Explaining the end of the war, private soldier Mohamed Ben Lancen said:“The heroic Vietnamese people united for an ideal fought with all their strength to defeat the French expeditionary army equipped with modern weapons and American aircraft. The source of the Vietnamese people's victory was the right cause for their national independence, while the French expeditionary army fought just for the sake of making money. Most of us are children of workers recruited because of poverty and unemployment ”.
@J RIVAZ Dude like Russia And China can just rape USA
@skidbjster 1743 USA have many Allied Country bro than Vietnam Philippines,India,Sweden,Australia,Germany ETC. Other Countries hate Chinese
@J RIVAZ Im too lazy to name all of 195 countries in the world
@skidbjster 1743 really? How about Japan,Germany,Sweden,Austlia,Spain,Brazil and India?
Can we take a moment to acknowledge how totally underrated guerrilla warfare is.
Vietnam did win the war but I feel like America was not really into winning this war. Wouldnt it make sense that America would resort to nuclear weapons if America was actually so serious about winning. The only time when I know America was so serious was when it literally just wiped out Nagasaki and Hiroshima. WW2 lasted for few years until Japan attacked America, that's when America felt like it's time to end WW2 and America did end WW2 at ease.
Everyone obviously knows that if U.S.A released Mason Woods and Hudson than the war would be over in a few months
Good morning friday to you From vietnam
Critic English Colonialism, proceeds to justify Yankee Imperialism
Its pretty east to explain. When the army your facing is in the north but your not allowed to go north because china threatens another korean war in vietnam its hard to destroy that army in the north. On top of that the soldiers don't want to be there and the us population doesn't want them there. Then you look at how no matter what when usa leaves the south will fall instantly one starts to think what's the whole point anyway. So the usa decided to leave because it wasn't worth it its not like they were kicked out. Actually they never lost a major military battle. They literally walked into ambush after ambush and still came out on top. If it wasn't for china usa would have swept over the north in a matter of weeks and thank the usa population for demanding an end to a pointless war that was the whole reason they left. I have a lot of respect for the north vietnamese but lets be honest without china threatening war or usa anti war propaganda they would have been done for the last thing they did was kick out the usa military more like held on in the north till the us military said screw it
Another looser who got facts wrong! Fact the US was not involved when South Vietnam fell. Our mission in the Vietnam war was ONLY to prevent the south from being over run like almost happened in South Korea and nothing more. From the start of our time in South Vietnam the American military did exactly that and the North/NVA/Charlie never took over the South.
Why does the us general got a “pokeball” on his right shoulder?
US would win on every encounter but the viets just keeps and keeps harassing until the capitalist don't want to spend money no more
Cool animations but water splashes were backwards.... Make a narrow column appear then widen then fall...
The same way america fell in 2020_2021.. propaganda and the side fighting for right was intentionally kept from winning
I'M GLAD THE VIETNAMESE FOUGHT SO HEROICALLY AGAINST THE IMPERIAL YANKEE FORCES.
Wow, once again, great job kid. Not. "In 1955 fighting began between North and South"? OMG what bullshit. The NVA wasn't even involved then. It was the U.S./DIem that created the Viet Cong, once the communists/nationalists in the south knew there wasn't going to be an election. Like everyone else, you just blow right past the 1954 Geneva Agreement, splitting Vietnam into two TEMPORARY REGROUPMENT ZONES while awaiting the results of a popular vote. The U.S. bullied its way in there and totally disrupted the agreement, told its puppet Diem not to hold elections, and went ahead and nation-built South Vietnam. And BTW kid, it wasn't he Pentagon Papers that revealed the My Lai Massacre. It was a Soldier who wrote his congressman. Jesus. During which, the U.S. Army tried to cover it up.
The USA was defeated ? So Vietnam forced the surrender of the USA? Vietnam occupied or occupies portions of the USA? Also the tet offensive was a tactical victory for the USA and south Vietnam....
Yah :(
Easily they didn’t invade end of this video
Sorry but i have to dislike this one. You didin't even mentioned the Paris Peace Accords, signed by the North 2 years before they invade the South.
Vietnamese translation please! We need to know what you said in that video. In the world there are a lot of distortions about the history of Vietnam, such as the majority of American films about the Vietnam War 🤮 how such dumb puppets can defeat the US and France, shoot down B52 and millions of tons of bombs dropped by the US with the bombs of two world wars? The world needs to know more about Vietnam. About how we conquered the colonial chains of the great powers that want to invade this land.🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳
The tree start singing ho ho ho chi minh
NVA commander: Vo Nguyen Giap Subtitles: roll wings off *Bruh*
Cause is wrong. It was the US had to support the promise of the Bretton-Woods agreement which was designed to re-start the global economies after WW2.
North Vietnamese general Vo Nguyen Giap was willing to sacrifice 10 Vietnamese for every 1 US soldier. They were willing to fight until the last man.
Just saying neither won the war neither lost the war America abandoned the war and didn’t surrender
Im sure they surrendered to the vietcong
The point was to get Saigon so USA won
Haha lol noob.....
We lost because of the media and lack support at home. The same reason Britain lost the Revolutionary war.
America fought for the domino theory. Don't hear much about dying for dominos anymore . . .
So inaccurate fortunate son was not played with the helicopter at the start smh
RRReally very regretted Americans had to leave south vietnam too early in 1973 while VN internal war was going on and didn't know who would defeat who? Athough US army had more modern technological weapons and utilities such as bombers, helicopters, warships, cannons, tanks, trucks, etc. but they had not warrior's combat spirit at battlefield (almost they all were scared painful and the death). 50% they were lost of spirit in the battles. If they had just needed to get 20% spirit as Japanese troop or Nazi in WWII then US Army would win VN War and VN context would also like North and South of Korean Peninsula nowaday.(of course no hitting to liberate North VN for respecting the Genève agreement 1954 )
I'm so proud of Vietnam. I hope there will be infinite oil in Vietnam so USA can come and get destroyed once again. And F U USA.
We didn't "Lose Vietnam". We ," Quit Vietnam".ok
So you loss
The vietmes ambushed us, like we ambushed the British during revolution!.
It's similar to the war of 1812, America fails in all its objectives and even gets its capital city burned to the ground but they still think they won.
Pro tip, don’t start a fight halfway around the world simply to try and prevent a nation from attaining independence. It’ll be an expensive, amoral, laughable waste of time and life
We sent over a million commies to hell and stopped the spread of communism. Thats a win.
@AsianKidIsSomething we stopped the spread of communism which was the goal. We won and sent 1 million commies to hell lmao 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Yeah then they all died and america didnt win
@red88alert *THIS* is the propaganda I'm talking about. They are normal people with a different opinion than you. Talking about them like that is inhumane. If you didn't notice: No European, Asian or African land's public opinion is in favour of the American's genocide against people with different opinions. Ironically, America always talks about freedom but viciously commits war crimes against people that would like to be self-sufficiently communist.
@I_love_Carrots atrocities? Commies aren't people. No atrocities to talk about. We did the world a favor.
@red88alert The facts are that America lost but still committed lots of atrocities.
A lot of data in this video not a plain lie, but twisted and manipulated at the very least. Too much crap to finish watching the video. Very badly researched what really happened prior to the Vietnam war.
A sorry ass democrat was in charge.
American: we lost because bla bla bla bla Vietnam: Ah yes, the tree guy save us
Probably should have picked somebody other than diem
So how were we defeated when we won all most every battle against the vc and nva
@Bradley Searcy And also, by insulting the person for being smart is selfish. Learn how to lose.
@Bradley Searcy Did you even watch the video? He clearly said that casualties didn't matter. Like another person said, if casualties were to determine if a war is won, Germany would have "won" WW2.
American lost 50000 soldiers and nva and vc nearly 3.5 million
Ok mr know it all
Utterly irrelevant, you left the battlefield and they remained. To use a boxing analogy, several rounds have been fought, fighter A is thrashing fighter B on points. Before the end of the bout fighter, A leaves the ring, who is declared the winner?
Right on
the us lost bc they didnt use bombs
GGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD MMMOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRNNNNNNIIIIIINNNNNNNNNGGGGGGG VVVIIIIIEEEETNAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMM
Almost a million viet Cong died and only 58,000 Americans died. I’d say you cant win a war when the enemy is an idea ( communism) because if you kill a million people that hold that idea there’s a book that can make a million more believers in that idea.
Does anyone remember the Paris Peace Accords? The US war effort brought North Vietnam to the negotiating table. Of course they broke the treaty after the US left, but it was the Democrats who sold Vietnam down the river, after Nixon resigned, by refusing to uphold the promise the US made to South Vietnam to replace defence equipment used against the North
NVA fought conventional, Vietcong was the only guerrilla force
Oh, just like in Afghanistan and Iraq?
