#Hyundai hasn't had the best luck in the large family SUV segment. It started 13 years ago with the Veracruz, followed up with a Santa Fe XL in 2013, but both were deemed too bland and cramped for the average American families. Enter the 2020 #HyundaiPalisade which is based on the excellent Kia Telluride platform. It's about 6 inches longer than the old Veracruz, has seating for up to 8 people, and an interior that would shock a lot of luxury buyers with excellent materials, comfortable seats, and lots of tech. Add in a price that is actually cheaper than its Kia cousin and the 2020 #Palisade should find its way onto many family shoppers short list when it goes on sale this month.

  • While I watched a number of reviews I probably watched yours on the Palisade and Teluride more than any and multiple times. After looking at almost every three row crossover we purchased a Palisade limited and couldn't be happier, just wanted to say thank you for helping us make our decision!

  • Many people look down upon Hyundai because of the name but the palisade proved them wrong. In my opinion, the palisade wins

  • You missed the button on the second row seats located on the bottom of the seat that has the same function as the top button to fold it forward for small kids to help get them in the back. Also you forgot to mention the rear talk feature and the rear quiet feature that turns off the rear stereo speakers so kids can sleep.

  • The media buttons are hard to see: grey on grey especially on a bright day. Also the buttons on the driver's door don't have features that allow you to differentiate between them.

  • Do any of these review companies employ actual "real sized men" (and straight men)?!?!?!...I am tired of tiny white boys and miniature Filipinos....get a 6'3" big boy American in there for proper fit....otherwise what is the point?...just have women do the reviews if you can't find "full-sized men" to do your reviews...I mean this guy is shorter than the car! Who cares what he says about fit, comfort and performance, I mean a go-cart would perform well with him in it! Who cares what a short guy says about room....they can fit "just fine" in a Coach Airline seat as well. So...sum it up....if you are a gay tiny Asian man you can fit in any car he reviews! Got it....next!

  • If I am spending 50k, I'ld rather spend it on Toyota 4Runner. I know 4Runner is a different kind of SUV (more rugged, off road worthy and less luxury) but money is money. 5 years from now this palisade would have lost 50% to 60% of its value and my 2020 4Runner would worth twice as much as this hyundai. Not too mention all the trouble this hyundai would run in after 100k miles....

  • I think the torque numbers on this size of a car are a bit low, it would be a better platform with more torque. Possibly a tri or quad-turbo petrol, a diesel engine, or electric hybrid, but definitely more torque. It feels gutless because you have to rev it out and probably drop gears to get the weight to move accordingly, with more torque that problem would disappear. EDIT: It would probably help with fuel efficiency as well...

  • You are special. You are unique. Make a statement. Look no further. Come drive another run of the mill boring indistinguishable piece of shit just like everyone else. Overly expensive, highly disposable shit boxes full of shit you dont need, and are about as stylish as a steaming pile of dog shit. Driven by karens to tote around their precious little kaydens, aidens, and jaydens to vape shops, softball practice, yoga class, and whole foods. Complete with a black ice tree, curb rash, and plenty of stupid ass stickers, including, but not limited to "baby on board", "live laugh love", and "Bernie 2020". Can be yours for ONLY about 50 grand, paid for by child support. Whats not to love? Get yours today. Oh, and be sure to come back in 2 years when its outdated.

Im not looking for Tesla level but I know Honda's drive well on their own on the highways but Subaru's are for sure just an assist not more of a self highway driving.

  • I hate the large mockery grill of palisade and their Hyundai emblem. I can't stand it. It's like a design made on a sheet of crap paper by a nursery kid..Kia telluride sx trim looks way better than this in terms of interior design.

  • Interesting how reviewers, dealers and car ads do not mention one of the latest features on new vehicles. I'm referring to the wonderful stop/start system that car makers have been forced to adopt in a desperate attempt to meet future EPA fuel economy standards. I always look for the "A" off button when I watch reviews and I did see it over on the right side of the center console. For those who don't know, the stop/start system switches off your engine when stopped at the lights when your foot is on the brake, then as you release the brake, the engine restarts supposedly before you put your foot on the gas pedal. This is supposed to save you a heap of cash on fuel while also saving the environment. One would think they want you to know about this feature, but no one seems to explain this feature, therefore I can really only conclude that the reason no one mentions it, is because it's a piece of crap that adds unnecessary expense to all new vehicles due to having to have a beefed up starter motor and battery to handle the thousands of extra starts. Not to mention all the micro-switches and other electronics required to make the system work. In the old days, every time something new came out on motor vehicles such as power steering, A/C, power windows, disc brakes etc, they couldn't wait to tell us all about it, but not the "wonderful" stop/start system, no, NOT ONE WORD!!!

  • Hyundai - kia need to change the ratios of their transmission... Cruising at 70mph with rpm at 2100 is not good compared to the competition... Other cars rev at 1900 while cruising at 80 mph, this affect the mpgs a lot and also affect the quietness of it on highway drives

  • if Telluride had the Audi like/gauge cluster, & the seats of the palisade I'll be fine..I'm not crazy about the push button transmission just yet...in my opinion they both are nice, wish the palisade front end looked a little better..both are better than the competition, seem to offer more...wonder how good the transmission is in both Telluride and palisade 🤔

  • I have a deposit down on a white Limited AWD Palisade that should be arriving in early March. Since the deposit is refundable, I'm actually still shopping because here in Houston it is damn hard to find a dealership that isn't asking for markup. A lot of bait-and-switch bullshit going on. I really want a white one because the only thing I don't like about the exterior is the chrome and I feel like the white makes it less noticeable.

  • Say what you want about Hyundai, but they did a hell of a job on designing this vehicle. Probably the best looking vehicle on the road right now. IMO. The very first time I saw one I was honestly expecting to see one of the so-called luxury brand badges on it.

  • I’ve watched countless reviews for the Palisade and this was by far the best, thank you! I test drove both the Telluride and this and I have to say that it just felt better to me than the Telluride, more sturdy, idk if that was due to drive modes or that it has different shocks (if I remember right, Japanese shocks) than the Telluride. Now I’m just waiting to find one
