Joe Rogan Experience #1337 - Dan Crenshaw

Dan Crenshaw is a politician and former United States Navy SEAL officer serving as the U.S. Representative for Texas's 2nd congressional district since 2019.

  • With regards to the “armed police” at schools... I went to a public school in Toledo, Ohio and we always had a “school resource officer” that was regularly in the hallways interacting with students. A vast majority of the interactions were very positive and we honestly enjoyed having them around. They would participate in school events and contests and were basically just another faculty member. I never once felt threatened or worried about having an officer in the school and I didn’t get a sense that any of the other students had issues either. Although the thought may seem quite foreign, police officers are a very important part of our communities as a whole and the more interactions people have with them before they get busted by one (I’ve had my fair share of times an officer has given me a ticket and such) the more we will hopefully see them as good people and not the vilified “blue man bad” that the internet makes them out to be at times. Just my two cents! You’re the man Joe : ) -Sam

Is it probable, absolutely not. I don't care what you look like, there is someone out there that will sleep with you. It's okay to have high standards but don't bitch about it. That's a choice you're making.

  • Research the history of the middle east, and its pretty obvious that pretty much every country over there has a case of the hard ass for every other country over there and every where else for that matter. The truth is the very few people in the US actually understand the thought processes that exist in the majority of the middle east. Contrary to popular belief, you don't need two sides to start a fight, you actually needs two sides to have peace!

  • 10:00 Reason why Osama didn't like us is because our ties with Israel. OB being a middle eastern guy with islamic background doesn't hate Israel. And he didn't like how we sided with Israel instead of many nations in Middle East. He didn't like Saudi for it being the front face for western nations like US. He didn't like US involving in ME matters. I'm not supporting OB but we need to understand our enemies.

    • Yes he is. The US had almost no military bases around Iran's borders on the day of 9/11. Most of foreign US military presence was actually in Europe and Asia in 2001. But then Muslims who hate freedom and crave 72 virgins decided it would be a good idea to see if they could start WW3 by flying civilian airliners into civilian buildings in the US. But to their dissapointmemt WW3 didn't happen, just an all-out targeted attack on their continental proxies, followed by building bases everywhere to prevent a future attack. Now, having lost miserably, they try to convince young and naive US liberals that they are the victims for starting a war they can't finish.

  • This guy is cherry-picking his stats on guns. Sure there's people who defend their homes from armed-burglary, but the fact is that you're 80% more likely to have your gun used against you (whether that be from being disarmed or suicide) than you are likely to successfully defend yourself. No country has more guns per capita than the US. We're actually the only country with more guns than people. Switzerland does come close to the US in guns per capita but no one in Switzerland is allowed to store ammunition anywhere other than a gun range.

    Dan GrayDan Gray10 gün önce
    • @Jim KC Apparently, the Swiss law has been updated since I last checked. I'm willing to concede on that point. Source below: As far as your word-twisting based on pronouns I chose to use, I would say nice try but it's really not even that. Anyone with any ounce of common sense would understand when reading that stat that you can't get a statistic from looking at one person. It's obvious that it represents gun owners in the US as a whole. If anything, your second rebuttal just shows how willing you are to ignore and contort the facts to fit your narrative. Here is a list of gun owners per capita: Your numbers match up with this list but I really can't wrap my head around how you're trying to use this to refute my point. There are 1.2 guns in the US for every 1 person. There is 1 gun for every ~5 people in Switzerland. That is a staggering difference. Again, the fact that you tried to use this to refute me exposes your insane confirmation bias.

      Dan GrayDan Gray9 gün önce
    • Untrue statements above- "no one in Switzerland is allowed to store ammunition anywhere other than a gun range" = not true - The storing of army ammunition at home was discontinued and the military ammunition was collected for centralized storage. If in Switzerland, and you can legally own a firearm, then you can legally posses ammunition "but the fact is that you're 80% more likely to have your gun used against you (whether that be from being disarmed or suicide) than you are likely to successfully defend yourself." = not true- a personal pronoun was used in the statement so will interpret this as applying to me. I have never had my firearm used against me but have successfully used a firearm on nine separate occasions to defend myself. I guess when the percentages catch up to me I will be shot or killed about 40 times at some point in the future. "Switzerland does come close to the US in guns per capita" =not true. They trail us by a large amount approx 1.2 guns per person in the U.S. and the Swiss are at about 0.2 to 0.3 guns per person depending on the data you are looking at. There are a dozen or so other countries that exceed the Swiss per capita gun ownership level. So at least you were not cherry picking but instead opted for ignorance.

  • As far as gun violence it is an old strategy in which government causes a problem then offers a solution to achieve their agenda of abolishing the second amendment therefore making the country weak enough if ever they wanted to implement Marshall law or make the invasion of our country possible.

    Seth DawsonSeth Dawson10 gün önce
  • These mass shootings can be tied into ml ultra and the first documentation of that sort of gov abc entity attract intended to swade option on second amendment by using fear. The CIA wanted to actually destroy a airliner and blame it on Cuba naming it operation north woods during the early sixties. The deep state which President Eisenhower warned the people about in his last speech before leaving office described that very threat in the fifties. Sadly no one took what he said to heart and acknowledge what he was actually saying. It was a warning against our own government becoming a tyrannical entity while using propaganda through media to make people think in the way those in power want you to think. If you trust government blindly thinking they would or could never do that to their own citizens, then you have successfully been manipulated and believe exactly the way the government backed propaganda media was intending you to believe. Remember our own government took criminals known to be nazis responsible for the most heinous acts in recent history only exceeded by the murders by the Catholic church. These nazi scientists and propagandists were used by our government for a purpose.

    Seth DawsonSeth Dawson10 gün önce
  • When will people realize the middle east problem is religion, therefore making this a religious war unlike a conventional war. It cannot be worked out when Islam fundamentally believes that either infidels convert or die. That makes this impossible to resolve without either changing their religious beliefs that are based on a few thousands years of ideals passed down generation to generation. Also the religion itself contradicts itself within it's very on written word by saying peace peace then later saying jihad and kill everyone simply for denying their god. Alone the contradiction and double mindedness creates undeniable uncertainty and unstable mindset we see within these many sects that behead people and burning people alive. This is tyranny undeniable like that of Roman Catholics during the early middle ages where untold numbers of people were murdered simply because they wouldnt convert to their idea of truth concerning religious beliefs. Then it led to killings people that were cristian but simply believed different. This led to the formation of our United States unlike any nation before. Because this extreme Islamic belief is insanity in practice it must be fought against because that is the only thing they acknowledge.
