  • Knowing Magic’s history guy let’s be honest. Magic was hoping for more fame and glory while doing nothing and left knowing his image was being wrecked by not doing good. Rob Pelinka simply was probably trying to do the right thing and that must’ve clashed with Magic.

  • this is the most retarded advice ive ever heard. You should never give one person unilateral decision making power at any level. This is why every corporation has a board of directors not a dictator. Human beings make better decisions collectively than individually. Then you quite because of office gossip? What an idiot. Magic would never survive in corporate America where betrayal and sabatoge are standard practice.

  • I was a Lakers fan till the last 5 years. However, this drama with Magic doesn't make me wanna go back as fan. I think Magic is getting too much airtime compared to the Polinka guy. Get the other guy on air and ask him his side of the story. Also, thought Magic was busy with his other businesses?

  • In my humble opinion, I think Magic Johnson is one of the most respected people in sports. He is very honest and upfront about his beliefs and opinions. He has certain parts of his life that are that are private. There is no ambiguity in this man. He wouldn’t be who is and/or where he is today, if he wasn’t. I am old enough to have watched this talented basketball player in his prime. When he would make a fast break at the other end of the court. The sound of all those men running, footsteps pounding, tennis shoes squeaking, ball bouncing. And he would do a sideways pass without looking was one of the most awe inspiring moments in my life. I never tired of watching him play. He was a gentleman on and off the court.
