[MOTOROLA RAZR 2019 HANDS-ON / MOTOROLA RAZR 2020 HANDS-ON]
The re-imagined Motorola Razr is part flashy technological feat and part practical portability perk, sold at a premium price despite some forgettable specs. If you’re thinking that sounds familiar, then you much have been around for the first Motorola RAZR launch back in 2004! Despite its high price, that RAZR product family would go on to sell 130 million units over the next four years, going down in the history books as the most successful flip phone of all time. Can Motorola capture lightning in a bottle again? I recently got a sneak peek at the company's flexible-display flagship branded simply "razr" - and while my enthusiasm for the foldable category doubtless colors my impression, I came away hopeful for the Motorola brand name for the first time in four years.

Tony, Tony is thet you! Lol! Hello Mr Stark!
I buyed last time 6 when the release And I still until now Since 7 I leaved waiting new model Since x I dont track new model I didnt watch 11's any videos YET 😂 And now I'm very happy about this decision🌹❤💕👏👏👏👏👏
I feel same emotion as like release N900 Woow I was young and ı miss those emotions 😂😁😂
I almost love it Moto motion and active display are a must The flip is cool and nostalgic But the camera and price are are turning me off. Plus I'm on AT&T... guess I'll stick with the Moto X
Iron mans new phone lol
ergaliaria xronia pollh igies astenon telon
Samsung: Hey, we've worked out how to fold a screen! Motorola: Hold my beer.
This is the future. A small phone that can be everything is just ideal, even a large screen phone
It' s just a curved hinge phone of good idea, but too expensive.
the future... ♥
Price is very more in indea
I realy need that phone
Honestly...Motorala just killed the iPhone one-piece large phone design in what seems like an almost accidental shot. How the fuck did this happen?
Except for the price - I love this! Only thing I'd change is some more metallic outer finnish. Like a dark blue or something. But damn it's nice.
Very intriguing design. Opening price might be a little bit high, but early adopters are often ready to pay a premium... I guess in mid 2020 it will drop below 1000 bucks, and then it starts to get interesting for more people. I believe that 600 bucks would be the sweet spot for this. Maybe with a cellular contract it will be cheap enough. I'm looking forward to get one as soon as it becomes affordable. Let's wait and see.
I'll wait for the next upgraded one
2 year old tech with low battery for $1500. i don't think so.
Can you review the axon 10 pro
Dude you should narrate for Hollywood movies, you got the talent. No joke, give it a shot.
Lenovo
Mike: is it the future or the past?
Nay Sayers: Premium price, medium performance and no real advantage to a regular phone. Yay Sayers: Nostaolgia Nay Sayers: Old Razr feel more premium looking than this plasticy Razr. Yay Sayers: Nostaolgia, worth any price Me: Wait for next copied version
i really wanted this until he mentioned the specs. im not rich enough to regret buying one
1500? Snap dragon and the mah is a fail its not worth 1500
I'm not usually a phone person, but this intrigues me.
I'm sorry but in my eyes vertical phones are literally useless the only point I see is to make it more compact when you're not using it. Folding the other way is actually useful because you have a bigger screen
I need it.
Please, rich people, buy this phone and make them make even cheaper phones for people like me.
Motorola made a new category phone: SMART BURNER
What about an "open and close" test for 24 hours.
Michael’s so handsome 😍😍
i think developement of the foldayble screen costs so much they had to cut at some corners... to be honest every where. 4g, 6gb ram, bad cpu, bad cam, 120gb without sd slot and so on... and still the price is so high... BUT if i had the money now. i would buy it. new tec in an old phone.
Man what is the matter with your hands? There are times they are worryingly shaky
Bro they have got to imput a fingerprint scanner into the motorola imprint on the back of the new moto razr. If they don't I will die.
battery... :(
Google should've kept moto and made this the Pixel4. Maybe G kept rights to the hinge patent and uses it for a killer P5 to finally surpass iphone
Battery and price is a a big disadvantage
Verizon only.... aiight I'mma head out.
Samsung taking notes for the fold 2
When the specs match the price I'll give it a second look.
@D. Corey I fully agree with the Art. That's why I want one!
specs are fine for the display size.this is a 4G phone with 6GB of RAM and 128GB.It's also more than a phone.it's ART.
I remember at the peak of the razr phone literally everyone , no jokes , everyone was using one. I think I see more RAZR than I see iPhone nowadays and that is saying something
Only 2500 battery mah. Nah...
I dont see what the fuze is about. Its has mediocre specs and an extremly sensitive screen and a huge price tag for what it is.
"from the brand that invented the cellphone"
The StarTac and the Razr V3 at their time were cool, edgy, and innovative but NEVER this expensive... I even remember picking up the Razr V3 in an aluminum box that included a leather case, pretty cool stuff yet never as expensive.
Is Michael Fischer a homosexual?
I would wait to buy until Black Friday of 2020, when this phones price will drop to between $500-$800.
Cool, familiar design Cool, mid range but good enough hardware $1500
Phone of the year
Remove the notch Moto, and you have something special.
nice phone, and very compact. I don't know about the price on itself loose from model and brand. Two years ago most of Belgians stand in line for an Apple that cost about 1000,00 euros. I don't think today we still have a 1000 bucks to spend on a smartphone. There were other 'security' reasons why people wanted so badly to spend a 1000 euros on an Apple phone. That is all gone today. A budget of 600 euros for a smartphone gets exceptional. Still very sleek machine.
Love to see foldable phones coming back..... thank you foldable display technology....
What iam going to do with 2150Mha battery?!
+MrMobile While the shortcomings of the original Razr are true phones where used for a very different purpose in 2004. Calling, texting, and some photo snapping was about all you could do. In 2020 phones are completely different altogether. Trying to sell a phone part enahnced form factor, part nostalgic piece is a tough pill for $1,500. Maybe this will sell well, Im not sure how though when specs are the main selling point of handsets these days.
it would be better if it had at least 3500mah battery
1500 bucks , oh mine got , doesnt seam to be a flag ship material , i mean , doesnt take just one innovation to get to that position you need to have software package to match , at least if im gonna be a buyer , something , its a lot of money , i mean , PS4 is like 400$ , PS5 should be around 500$ , that is PS4 and PS5 and another flag ship phone , for this phone .
Who cares about flip phones in 2019
I want this but i keep telling myself to buy the 2nd or 3rd gen of foldable phones
Looks like it belongs in 1832
All the phones on the market are flat and big .. That think is just genius . Small practical nostalgic
Lets forget about iphone or Samsung , I really want this phone in my pocket.😬
This is going to be great! This is how a flip and phone should be!
I love the new razr but I’m going to wait until it’s cheaper
I am buying this phone because it bends! =D
there’s no way that this new razr cost $1500 just because of nostalgia!🙄🙄🙄
I wanted the old razr and didn't get it soooo now's the time!
If only I had £1500...
wowowowowowwowowowowowow
Haha 1500 because it's foldable please haha. I rather buy somethings and much higher specs phone or tablet than buying this. It's not because it's different doesn't mean it's worth to buy
Just wait Gen2 will fix some problems and add others and Gen3 will have it perfected. Hopefully by Gen2 Price will drop.
