We are excited to be able to offer you a 30-day free trial with Scribd! Use this link to start: www.influencerlink.org/SHK0 "Rommel, you magnificent bastard, I read your book!" Now you can too! :) Sorry about the narration in this one guys, I'll be working on improving the recording quality in future videos. Also, my recording studio is being moved to a different part of the house so I had to animate the intro & conclusion. I think I'm going to try animating intro's and conclusions in future videos, but only if I can get the mouth to move.
Why couldn't rommel be resupplied from Bengahzi?
Rich Taylor the Americans got slaughtered by Rommel at Kasserine.
The Armchair Historian CAN u make a video about Enrich Von Meinstein or Heinz Guderein.Any Top notch Wehrmacht generals/field marshals.
What if, all the British troops were trained in Australia? A 5 year training makes for 20 year experience considering how everything will try to kill you Ps: I have no knowledge on what am I saying, but Im rather riding the wave that is "Austria is a deadly country"
Did the British put the captured Italian tanks to work against the Germans?
Shouldn't have awakened the US lol.
Unfortunately nobody talk about the battle of Bir el Gobi. 2000 Italians “Mussolini boys” pushed back 10.000 British and 100 tanks saving the ass of rommel during operation crusader
Why did the nazis even want North Africa ?
10:15 love that random transition
Can you name a decent Italian general?
Why couldn't Rommel be supplied from Benghazi ?
you should do an episode on the east africa and middle east campaign (anglo iraqi war, syria campaign and Soviet-British invasion of iraq
Italy and germany VS rest of the world...
Excellent video, thanks
Did anyone else notice the subtle Operation Torch reference when taking about the Americans entering the war near the end of the vid?
Did you really just pronounce Archibald as Arkibald lmao
yeah the only problem with battlefield v was those god damn Tigers in Libya in 1941
7:23 Tchad, Cameroon, Gabon, Congo, Center africa is French (free) !! Not british !
Nice video. Very informative. Nice job guy.
Rubah gurun
5:50 can someone for the love of Christ tell me what's the name of that soundtrack ? All the videos on youtube that uses it don't have its name on the description ... I've been looking for it for almost an year
@Galaxy GamingYT cheers
I got you it’s called video game soldiers by twin musicom
You forgot to mention that Rommel told his troops they captured Moscow in order to boost morale.
Sure is a lot of cissies getting upset by misgendering here today
Can you please make one on fall of singapore
penis
7:35 Reminds me of the 1996 version of Panzer General.
I don't see how Rommel's reputation can be sanitized. While he fought in the wrong side of history and worked with the some of the most evil people in history, he was a man with good morals, honor as a soldier and arguably, a tactical genius. I think his reputation shouldn't be muddied or treated with ignorance.
I see how your title this
Armchair Historian: So here’s a stick figure one of my writers drew Me: *such detail, so intricate, THIS SHOULD GO INTO THE LOUVRE*
Why do you say no tigers were used in Africa? The only running tiger to this day was captured by the British in africa
Anyone else in MN wishing axis had put up a better fight so that we didn't have to endure Somalians sucking from Sam's tit while refusing to integrate or am I just high and feeling sorry for myself after getting a woman grabbed by the neck forcefully just because I held the door open for her?
Her Majesty’s forces? King George VI was King 1936 - 1952 ie throughout the war period; it should have been His Majesty’s forces! Another great production; thanks
8:59
Griffin, what were 'Her Majesty's' holdings in Egypt? The Last time I checked, HIS Majesty King George VI was King during the 1939-45 War.
You used "comprising" correctly. Damn.
You had me at "Arid desert air". Not. You didn't have me.
I only watch ww2 videos that are about the axis or the axis winning battles it's too sad to watch the allies win
Germany woulda been better off goin it alone. They basically had to fight their war and the wars of Italy when they borked it up.
To the torch...
Mussolini: Damn it! We lost North Africa to the Allies! Churchill: Nothing can stop us now! Rommel: Hold my beer.
Churchill 8 months later: SYKE!
K
10:10 nice drawing tho

Britain: defeats Italy in north africa Germany: send Rommel Rommel: waddup g yall miss me
WW2 Episode 5: The Axis Strikes Back
The 88s were not anti tank guns. They were anti air craft guns used to take out tank. And again they were all British as they all had the same Queen and head of state. They just had separate divisions
2:30 his majesty’s not her majesty’s, Britain had king George VI
Axis: ok the supplies are coming tomorro- Royal Navy: *No*
Regia Marina: *well no but actually yes*
Didn't the british notice that Germany was moving troops and tanks into Libya? Why wasn't the royal navy sinking German troop ships?
Because the German transports were escorted by warships of the Italian Navy and planes from the Italian and German air forces, any attack would have been costly for the British, since in 1941 the Central Mediterranean was controlled by the Axis
Glen Cheney It's not easy it took the whole royal navy 3 times to sink a single Bismarck!!😂trvision.net/detail/video-DP0wLC57oEw.html
"Threatened to put Axis plans to the torch" Like Operation Torch amiright.
2:28 *his, in 1941 George VI was king
*His* majesty's holdings
I like how australian troops are just wearing some shorts
Dude it's pronounced sc ry b Ed your saying it like it has 2 bs
"Put Axis Plans to the Torch" Nice use of foreshadowing.
Battlefield 5 is riddled with historical inaccuracies, which makes me believe they did not do their research. It’s hard to advertise an “immersive WW2 experience” when it hurts to play it. I think it’s more about a liberal’s wet dream with women on the front lines to do away with some sort of fake social justice move
Oh Italy. Just give up...
I live in Germany and i have a Basketball Trainer named David Rommel. Could it be that Erwin Rommel is his ancestor?
At 2:06 nice uniforms. But why are they wearing womens uniforms? The buttons are on the wrong side. As are the decorations.
''Her'' Majesty's holdings? Dude... we had a King then... Also it wasn't feudal times... They weren't 'his holdings'
''Arkibald'' xD
Make your videos louder I whatch them on my phone it's never loud enough
I just realized the star wars easter eggs lol. Look in the titles
O'Connor literally played 3d fucking chess during the African Campaign
My grandpa said that when he was a young boy he and his family would sit next to the radio and just listen to Rommels millitary campagin that was the only thing on at the time in turkey
1:09 Judge the man by what he's done, not on who "liked" him.
I accidently killed her in battle. Got the fur bandit though
2:27 his majesty not her. Queen didn't take over till 1952 :P
Just saying rommel was serving germany not hitler he personaly dident like hitler
I've been meaning to look up the war in africa for such a long time, thanks for making these! My great grandfather fought there on the artillary shown at 6:02 Can't imagine how hard it must have been fighting in a desert with so few supplies.
U say it's no evidence rommel opposed the nazi party. But he was involved in the attempted murder of Hitler the father of the nazi party.
2:25 - *His Majesty Holdings, at that time. Britain was ruled by the king
I hate to be 'that' guy but it should be "to defend HIS majesty's holdings there".
Battlefield 5 say Tiger came africa for defense of tunisia ı think
