  • Check out Too Much Love Will Kill You by Brian May. He wrote the song which appeared on a Queen album. He's more known for being Queen's lead guitarist, but he has a beautiful voice and I feel he sings it better than Freddie. It's a great ballad.

  • The beautiful this is that this isn’t even the best version of this song! It was a live performance so it was a little sped up for time. So you didn’t get some of the pregnant pauses that let the song build naturally.

  • Going back to the original like this makes you realize that it had a simplicity that is so often lost when the song is covered by other artists. That's what I loved about the performance - no strain, no unnecessary runs. The song is beautiful in the right hands.

  • I bet this is the first time she has experienced her TRUE emotions and feelings; probably for the first time in her life. This song will shake you to your being. I know it does mine. This song expresses how the human animal is put together. There is an old sayin', if the eyes had no tears, the soul would have no rainbow, just sayin'.

  • you mentioned that you enjoy deep voices and that we don`t hear too much of those these days in one of your elvis reactions, so i feel the need to recommend sivert høyem prisoner of the road (live). one of the best voices out there. probably not a highly requested one, but i promise it will be worth the listen.

  • There is a quality in certain artists...., heavy emphasis on the term "artist" as this embodies the true definition of talent. There are alot of good singers out there with great voices. That said, there are those rare few that blow us away with their ability to evoke and convey emotion on a level that touches us in a way that actually bring tears to the eyes and deliver a performance that we never forget. Here's a suggestion: Listen to Al Stewart "Year of the Cat" and " Time passages." I want you to listen to the Saxophone in both songs. Both songs are of high quality in the contemporary category and are equally beautiful. The Saxophonist conveys a very strong emotional content in both pieces and almost literally takes you into the clouds. I've seen Al Stewart in concert in the late 1970's in Nashville, Tennessee. When he introduced the band, everyone of them received a great round of applause but when it came to the saxophonist, EVERYONE stood up and the damned roof almost caved in. It was deafening. That should tell you volumes about his ability and artistry. Have a listen. Im sure you'll LOVE IT! 1st time listening to your channel. Thoroughly enjoyed the choice and your reaction. Here's to your success!

  • It quite something, isn't it? I teach ballroom/social dance and DJ dance parties. This remains a top request and it always makes fans of our younger dancers who've never heard it before. I always so enjoy your sincere, emotional reactions. I have a rec for you. A singer I only discovered last year with the song I'll link below for you. I have NEVER had such a reaction to a song/performance. While this particular song is a cover, she makes it her own.(She writes most of her own songs. Fluent in four languages that she writes in as well as sings competently in 8 more. She's a brilliant role model to me.) Anyway, I'd love to see your reaction. The song is highly emotional, the lyrics poetry, the singer's technique sterling and her stagecraft unparalled. Ach, I've gotten myself excited thinking you might do a reaction. Please consider it! Link: trvision.net/detail/video-dVvlmpo5g9k.html Cheers!

  • Your reactions are priceless. I grew up on the Righteous Brothers, and this one's (Bobby Hatfield) ability to smoothly transition into falsetto so easily is what makes this song so transcendental and soaring. It's huge and will remain so. Yes--you have heard one of the few true love songs. ;) NOW you know why one of their songs came up in the original Top Gun! ;)

  • Hey Too Sushi, this version might not be as good as Bobby, but sure worth a listen.. trvision.net/detail/video-HFKB5HJWZ5g.html Also, a bit of trivia for ya.. The title is nowhere in the song. It's from the 40s movie of the same name with a guy in the pen pining for his love on the outside. Loved your reaction. Good music is supposed to touch our soul. That's why God gave us music so that we could commune with Him and experience what you experienced here.. 😉
