The Flex is the first laptop with a QLED panel, which promises more colors, deeper blacks and greater brightness. The laptop also comes standard with an S-Pen and a wireless charging pad built into the trackpad.

  • So i bought this machine but find that its got weird small things wrong with it like the bottom is made with a cheap plastic that’s bends and pops and the trackpad is a little glitchy. Is this just me being picky or has anyone else noticed this and find them a bit hard to deal with

  • I am from S. Korea and my first laptop in Korea was from Samsung. It was 12 years ago. Samsung's laptop was always #1 in Korea, but not in other countries. I have had two Apple's Macbook Pros after my first Samsung laptop stopped working after 3 years. I also have iPad Pro, iPhone 8, and even the Mack Pro 2013 model (trashcan shape desktop!) for my work. My recent Macbook Pro has been broken and I was about to buy a new Macbook Pro, but I would like to try some touch screen 2 in 1 laptop and I found the Galaxy Book Flex. I just ordered and I am kind of excited and afraid as I have not been using Windows PC for more than 10 years! I hope this device would meet my needs!

    • Jennie liu I used Macs till I broke out of jail. As I write this on my work provided iPad mini 5, I remember the most recent prison Apple imposes. I can't get my wallpaper without zoomed cropping even with zoom selectively turned off.

      David YDavid Y7 gün önce
    • Jennie liu Samsung far supersedes Macs with the pen for artist. Windows is not perfect, but options far supercedes MacOS. Prison is a great description as MacOS makes the user conform to the system rather than allow the user to individualize the system uniquely.

      David YDavid Y7 gün önce
    • So can you tell which one is better? Macbook or Samsung laptops?

    • I recently switched from MacOS to Windows 10, and don't miss Apple's prison system one bit.

  • Can you do that thing that the Note offers where you eject the spen and get the instant note taking screen while the pc is in sleep or not yet in windows? I have an issue with Windows 2 in 1's where I want to take a note but the interruption of waking it up and getting past boot up really ruins my rhythm.

  • I am angry with Samsung, my brand new chrome book's left hinge just broke off as I was opening it and it crack the screen , I just got this in December. Cheap hinge unbelievable. I never had a lap top type device that broke like this, all of my laptops last over 15 years, for me someone who is tiny, how much strength do they think I used to gently open the chromebook.

  • I contacted Samsung directly to see if I could purchase this laptop from them with the same specs as the one provided for this review. One would assume if theu can provide a reviewer in the US the option, they could extend the option to US consumers. Unfortunately not the case. While I want a 13" 8gb is too little. Debating whether to increase to 15" with 12gb or await next release. Has anyone seen the 15" in person? Does it seem too big when using as a tablet? I know this may seem like an odd question, but please note I have been using iPads and 13" MacBooks for several years. I made a smooth transition from iPhone to Samsung and I'm looking to do the same with my laptop.
