  • Im brazilian and my fiance is russian, from SPB (leningrad), her family has some strong stories about these days, and is crazy to think how close she was of never being born if her whole past generation had perished. I used to feel bad for the german sailors who fell from our navy, but after this, i think they didnt suffer enough. When a Brazilian airforce or navy plane would sunk an german uboat, they would allow the survivors to float on lifeguards for days, weeks, enough for them to have to canibalize their comarades to not starve, they would be reascued on the blink of death just to be sent by our prisions to suffer a little longer.

    • "Russia collaborated with nazis" OK if you say so. Ussr just just came back from a civil war. It had barely any divisions. If it did not sign the molotov ribbentrop pact, Germany would have invaded it there and then, and left France and UK for later, as the they would not fight on 2 fronts as West hated communists. It even said in Hitlers directive:"in case of an outgoing signature of the ribbentrop pact from the side of the Soviets, further existence of the slavic nation of USSR later than 1939 is pointless." Molotv wanted to give time for USSR. If the UK was given a choice, be destroyed because you didn't sign a pact with Germany or sign the pact and invade Belgium together, the UK would have signed it. " invaded the baltics " I'm 1939 from the Molotv ribbentrop pact, the baltic States agreed to integrating into the USSR as long as it stays a region with its own language, culture traditions people and etc. That promise was kept by USSR. If it wasn't kept, then you would not know what Lithuania was or is. "they invaded Finland" Firstly it was Finlands fault, they signed a millitary cooperation pact with Germany, and therefor if war with Germany took place, it would be another front. Therefore ussr had to invade. Finland did not exist unt 1918, it was Russian land, so no. Why don't you talk about how Poland signed a pact with Germany where they both invaded czecheslovakia? Why don't you mention that USSR was the last superpower to sign a pact with Germany? Why don't you mention that the UK left czecheslovakia for Hitler to annex, after they signed a pact together. Why don't you mention how USA cooperated with Germany, and started lend leasing them AFTER the invasion of czecheslovakia and Poland. Why don't you mention how USA gave Germany over 100 billion dollars for funding of millitary, this was called MEFO bills. Why don't you mention how France cooperated with German invasion of czecheslovakia and it also funded Hitlers Wermacht in an exchange for non agrresion pact? Why don't you mention any of these, or even the fact that USSR was the Last superpower to sign a pact with Hitler? Why? I don't care how you reply to me, say whatever you want. Kreml not, putin bot, Russia bot. That's the only thing stupid westerners like you can say, because you can't argue with my Facts. • Those fucking Nazi Germans how and why would i feel they are cool in the past? The fact that their aryan pride were shattered, reduced to dust and chased like a rat nowadays brings peace to my heart. Now i can understand why Russian and jews hates them so much that they decide to imprison and worked Nazi POWs for a decade after the war is ended and Isreal relentlessly chase them down across the globe and never let go even so criminals were at end of its life. I can't feel such deep solid sorrow, yet futile vengeance amount others. To my surprise, soviet did not just turn East German into its province.

  • I don't really understand why you framed Hitler as the man who wanted to starve the people of Leningrad... as they literally starved under Stalin. OH no! think of the horrors of another psychopath in control?! Stalin Ordered the military to not let civilians evacuate; as it would motivate soldiers to fight for a lost cause. That's WHY this is such an interesting conflict. It wasn't a blunder, it was DEFENDED and *Repeated* at Stalingrad

  • January 27, 75 years of lifting the siege of Leningrad! The blockade was attended by German, Austrian, Spanish, Italian and Finnish troops! There were volunteers from Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and others. Over 900 days, up to 1.5 million people died! 97% died of hunger! May those who did it and their descendants be cursed! this can not be forgiven! We will not forget this!
