  • WestBrick and Harden wont go anywhere. They are NOT a better team now. they have two showboats and two one and one players that are into statsand are NOT team players,. They will get beaten just like last year by any Team that plays Team basketball. CP3 is a much better team player than WestBrick and it will show this year in their record. They made a huge mistake trading CP3 and getting another selfish player like Westbrick will not help them get a ring. They will take early showers again.

  • Houston will not win with Harden and D'Antoni's offense. It doesn't work. Houston Rockets played some of their best games when Chris Paul ran the floor and got everyone involved. With James Harden's high usage and 36 ppg, most of his teammates are too cold because they're not getting enough touches and shots.

  • People really only talk about his inefficiency but don’t want to mention curry, lebron, beal, irving, or dame’s defense...he gets way to much hate and a lot of people are doubting the russ and harden duo but don’t know that they’ve been friends since they 9/10 years old. Russ and harden played with each other a lot i don’t see why its a problem when harden played with Paul who is more stubborn than russ is. Yeah paul can shoot but whats that matter when he scores 15 points a game and is out for a quarter of the season. They know how to play with each other im sure of it

  • This would backfire easily. Both Harden and Westbrook are ballhogs. Adding that, Westbrook is super inefficient. He is a high volume shooter who DEMANDS the ball be given to him and yet a lot of role players ard better than him offensively. Smh🤦‍♂️

  • if okc had a better coach they'd have a better record than the rockets this year. CP3 is still amazing but harden hurt his game. Dallio is an amazing shooter and scorer. Adams is a really good center to pair with a guy like CP3. Shai looked really good his rookie season and will probably only look better with CP3. I just don't see this team being bad an they're definitely in contention for the playoffs. The rockets could very well just blow up and even if it isn't a disaster its not going to be amazing

  • Many are forgetting that Westbrook admitted his bad shooting abilities after losing this year playoff. He promised he will change his shot for the better and we usually don’t see Westbrook blaming his abilities like that. So the fact that Westbrook is reflecting on his abilities will probably mean that he is going to start realizing his weakness leading to improvement

  • Direct quote from bleacher report article: Westbrook has almost no value off the basketball. He's the worst three-point shooter ever among players with 2,500 career attempts, and he only finished 30 possessions as an off-ball cutter in 2018-19. Harden is better equipped to play off it, but doing so would take the ball away from Houston's best player. Westbrook also spends an uncomfortable-and inefficient-amount of time in the mid-range. That's a dead zone in this offense. This past season, Westbrook himself took almost as many mid-range shots (355) as the entire Rockets team (396)

    • @Legendary Playz yeah you are late entire month...but I agree with you..Victor wasn't a star until pacers and I remember him staying how Russ helped him in that interview. He does deserve a lot of respect. Besides KD contribution, he put Thunder on the map. They couldve win the finals that one year when it was harden,KD, Russ and ibaka but of course got derailed by LeBron and co.

    Kevin TalleyKevin Talley4 aylar önce
  • Respectfully this premise is absurd. So absurd I’m turning the video off. Watched 6-7 instances in this video of Russ creating for himself and his teammates in OKC, and each of those plays Russ and his teammates got clean looks at the hoop. With more offensive firepower in Houston this upcoming season the floor will open up even more then it did last year while Russ was with OKC. Also, you’d MUCH rather have Russ taking mid range jumpers off the dribble (with space to get his shot off) than forced threes. The midrange jumpers he gets out of high screen and roll actions are good looks for Russ. I like this channel and coach Nick but this is not smart basketball commentary. The idea of shooting threes instead of long twos applies only in two scenarios, a) a player has to have enough range to consistently make threes or else he should shoot from wherever he can consistently make open shots from and b) if a players’ range stretches out to the three point line you don’t pass up an open two for a contested three which is the implication of coach Nick’s thesis (that Russ and Harden in Houston won’t work, and he thinks it’s because they can’t force enough 3’s?!?! Not smart). A combination of dribble handoffs, guard on guard on ball pick and roll actions, purposely having Harden off the ball when he and Russ are on the floor together because Russ is a great finisher and dribble driver while Harden is a great catch and shoot shooter (and iso ball player, if the clock’s winding down and Russ isn’t able to create a clean look for Houston before the shot clock’s time starts to dwindle) and staggering Russ’ and Hardens minutes will allow Houston to be an offensive juggernaut. This video and it’s thesis won’t age well. Also, Houston can also have Russ focus on exerting extra energy defensively to put pressure on the ball and have him focus on just making open shots on offence (which he can do from three point range!!!!) and have Harden carry the offensive load while playing solid defence on the other end. This video is ridiculous. Sorry. Also, while their both on the floor together the opposing team will need to ELITE level defenders on both of those players. Few teams have two of those guys who can can stay on the floor long enough (due to their probable lack of offensive prowess if their specialty defenders like a Norris Cole from years ago) to match minutes with Harden and Russ. Therefore, the two of them can always just attack their mismatches which they will have a ton of the time, and that’s not to mention a ton of the teams in the league who lazily switch everything which will allow Russ and Harden to COOK.

    Daniel WinebergDaniel Wineberg4 aylar önce
  • Nah. They play 2 different positions really. Westbrook at PG, Harden at SG and both are smart enough to know they'll benefit from each other plus both are getting old enough to know they need the other one. Westbrooks points will go down a little but his assist will go up and oddly enough same with Harden. They'll get easier shots as defenders have to watch both guys and defenders get fouls against both guys. Westbrook will bitch at harden to play defense more and harden will bitch about westbrook passing the ball off more. Both guys know the other guy is elite and despite their egos will listen to each other. even though they'll pretend not to. They need each other to win a ring to secure contracts and legacies. It will be a money based series of decisions and this is their best chance to make alot of money. It's all about money.
