  • My doctor prescribed Lorazopam (essentially a drink in a triangular pill). Wanna know what really ticks me off? I've watched three of your depression vids in a row. Now the Jew_tube ads are all about medication for depression. Yea, makes me mad. Love your introspect though.

  • Hands down, this is the best video I have run across. I am having difficulties trying to describe GAD to my family and boyfriend. I live with this daily and am so thrilled I came across your video. EVERYTHING you explained is what I am going through. Thank you so much for explaining this disorder a way most people can comprehend

  • Thank you for speaking on this subject. Your experience with this sounds almost identical to mine. I also sought medical help recently after trying to deal with it on my own for over half my life. It can truly be terrifying. However, after finally receiving medical help, I'm finally starting to feel so much better. Best of luck to you in the future!

There is a natural way to fix that with out drugs from Dr. if it’s helping it’s good but remember that’s just a band aid. I will become a Patreon and I hope that we get to chat and have want to share how I deal with the same things.

  • I am a female by the way, and have had severe social anxiety disorder for decades to the point where I couldn't work, didn't go out for months on end and couldn't be around other people. I went through several traumas as a child and know that is where it all stems from. SAD has taken away years of my life and I don't have relationships even though I am attractive, intelligent and a caring and empathic person, they just don't happen for me! I also do all the things that you do. I guess I have both disorders then. Life can be unbearable sometimes, it sucks! Much respect for making this video, and I hope you finally find some peace. I truly know how it feels.

  • Can gad be associated with hypochondria? cause I have a serious worry problem and I’m always concerned about my mental stability?

    tnyehtnyehYıl önce
    • Super common with an anxiety disorder. You've got alarm bells going off in your head when it's not necessary, and our natural inclination is to try and lock down why those alarm bells are going off, you know? Our own survival instincts tell us not to ignore those signs, so it's a challenge to stamp down even when you're consciously aware of it.

  • Seriously consider a low dose of an SSRI. It has helped me immensely. GAD has been in my life for far too long. The relief came gradually but it is so much improved that I can hardly believe it. Do not dismiss medications if you need them.

It feels good to know that I'm not alone anymore... I hate that these feelings are even a thing and that others feel them too... but I feel less alone now. Thank you for this!

  • Hi Dan :) I really enjoyed this video. I have GAD too. It’s always nice to come across an intelligent well spoken person who deals with anxiety ... you’re relatable and nice to listen to ! I’ve had GaD on and off for about four years and decided not to get on medication and just focus on re-programming my brain. My anxiety was caused by a traumatic event, I didn’t always have it. I believe I have to work through it. I would love to have a Xanax every now and then but the doctors won’t prescribe them out here in so cal. They just want to stick everyone on an SSRI .. but I’m not depressed, just extremely anxious.

  • This really brings me to tears because I know I have this and this really hurts my life and at the young age that I am I don’t want to interfere with the rest of my life. And also one reason that I think I have this is because I’m way too scared to talk to people about how I’m feeling and things going on inside my head and when I finally get the courage to do that they don’t understand they believe I’m just kidding and I’m just in my head when I’m not and I don’t want to be like this anymore and I don’t want to live like this anymore and grow up to be a successful human being.😭😢

But my anxiety was unusually pronounced that I drove back to my house and am now trying to relax in front of my computer. My symptoms include nausea, breathing problems and headaches. I wish this nightmare would end so that I may live my life. I also have hypothyroidism which really adds an extra layer of discomfort for me. I hope you find a way in overcoming this condition that I wouldn’t want to wish upon anyone. Take care and good luck. 👍🍀
